Cookie Dough
Cookie Dough
Also known as: Emperor Cookie Dough, GSC Cookie Dough
Overview
Cookie Dough is an indica-dominant hybrid strain created through a genetic cross of GSC (Girl Scout Cookies) and Dosidos. This strain emerged in California around 2010 when innovative breeders at Flavour Chasers crossed Girl Scout Cookies with Dosidos, with some sources describing it as a back cross of Dosidos with its parent Girl Scout Cookies, resulting in a heavily indica dominant strain producing THC levels of 25% and upwards.
The strain showcases medium-sized clusters that adhere in a dense, indica-typical formation with a roughly spherical shape. The tightly-packed leaves are a pale shade of spring green and are threaded through with vibrant orange pistils. Expect to see dark green buds with hints of purple and plenty of resin covering the nice dense buds. When properly cured, Cookie Dough's primary flavor is indeed dough-like, with some bready, yeasty notes, along with hints of berry and citrus, and when combusted burns with a smooth and palatable smoke with distinct dough and berry flavors on the exhale.

Growing Information
This indica/sativa hybrid can be cultivated indoors, outdoors, and in greenhouse environments with a flowering time of 9-10 weeks (approximately 67 days). Cookie Dough isn't what you would call the easiest strain to grow, with specific cultivation needs that make it thrive best in the gardens of farmers with previous cannabis growing experience. This genetic cross can yield impressive harvests of 0.5 to 1 ounce per square foot indoors, though harvests might not be quite as large, producing a modest 4 ounces of bud for each foot of the plant's height. Plants reach medium height with high yield potential. Commercial growers have not yet made seeds widely available for sale online, so prospective growers must obtain clippings from mature plants to grow genetically identical clones.
