Cotton Candy
Cotton Candy
Also known as: Cotton Candy Kush, Cotton Candy OG, C.C.K.
Overview
Cotton Candy is a hybrid cannabis strain developed by Spanish breeder Delicious Seeds through crossing Power Plant from South Africa with Lavender, which itself is a blend of Skunk strains and Afghan Hawaiian. The strain is indica-dominant with approximately 70% indica and 30% sativa genetics, though some sources report variations in this ratio. THC levels typically range from 15% to 22%, with CBD content generally below 1%. The strain produces dense, deep green buds with violet veins and burnt orange pistils, developing a distinctive metallic lavender appearance towards the end of flowering. True to its name, Cotton Candy exhibits a remarkably sweet aroma and flavor profile reminiscent of actual cotton candy, with berry-flavored notes and sugary sweetness. The strain was specifically bred for its enormous growth potential, high THC resin production, ease of cultivation, and resistance to fungi, pests, and stress, while maintaining excellent organoleptic features.

Growing Information
Cotton Candy has a flowering time of approximately 8-10 weeks (65-75 days) and can be cultivated both indoors and outdoors. Indoor yields typically range from 450-550 grams per square meter, while outdoor cultivation can produce up to 1000 grams per plant. Outdoor harvests are generally ready by mid-October. The strain is considered easy to grow, making it suitable for both beginner and experienced cultivators. Plants can reach heights of up to 6 feet both indoors and outdoors, requiring ample vertical space. Optimal growing conditions include temperatures around 68-77°F with humidity levels maintained at 35-60% during both vegetative and flowering stages. The Screen of Green (ScrOG) and low-stress training (LST) methods are beneficial for managing plant height and supporting heavy buds. The strain shows good resistance to fungi, pests, and environmental stress.
