Cowboy Cookies
Cowboy Cookies
Overview
Cowboy Cookies is an indica dominant hybrid (70% indica/30% sativa) strain created through a cross of GMO x Stardawg strains. This raunchy, skunky cannabis strain with a star-studded pedigree is a hybrid of GMO and Stardawg that is sure to produce pungent, resin-encrusted buds that are profoundly potent. The strain originated from the late-2010s wave of Cookie-family hybrids that blended dessert-forward flavor with gassy chem vigor, with the name nodding to its Western grit and confectionary sweetness.
Cowboy Cookies was developed by Greenpoint Seeds and represents a sophisticated breeding project combining two elite parent strains. GMO (also known as Garlic Cookies) contributes an elite lineage of Chem D and Girl Scout Cookies, with the name Garlic Cookies playing off of the pungently foul aroma and flavor that this sticky sack expels. Stardawg brings its chemdog lineage, adding fuel-forward terpenes and potency. The buds exhibit small spade-shaped dark forest green nugs with bright orange hairs and a light drizzling of sticky sweet resin.

Growing Information
Cultivators can grow the strain outdoors and indoors, with plants reaching 30-60 inches in height and featuring a 53/63-day flowering cycle, yielding after 59 days of germination with an indoor harvest at 1-2 oz./ft2, while outdoor cultivators are rewarded with 10-15 ounces of dried flowers per plant. The strain can be cultivated indoors, outdoors and greenhouse with plants needing a flowering time of ±70 days. Indoors, skilled growers can realize 400–550 g per square meter; outdoors in favorable climates, 500–900 g per plant is achievable. Cowboy Cookies features a moderate level of growth difficulty and produces small spade-shaped nugs covered with sticky sweet resin. Because the buds are so dense and frosty, watch out for bud rot and powdery-mildew infections, with adequate ventilation helping prevent these issues. Cowboy Cookies prefers a warm, Mediterranean pattern with cool nights for color, with harvest window from late September to early October depending on latitude and phenotype.
