Overview
Critical Cheese is a feminized, sativa-dominant hybrid cannabis strain created by Dinafem Seeds through crossing Cheese with Critical Plus. This strain has been one of Dinafem's collection flagships since their foundation in 2005 and represents a successful marriage of two renowned European genetics. Dinafem Seeds crossed Cheese with Critical Plus, resulting in the birth of Critical Cheese, which is essentially the enhanced version of Cheese with much higher yield.
The strain exhibits 65% sativa and 35% indica genetics with a THC content of 19% and CBD of 0.3%, though lab results commonly place Critical Cheese THC in the 17-23% range by dry weight, with occasional outliers reaching 25%. Critical Cheese is a potent and renowned strain grown for commercial and connoisseur purposes. The plants display thin, elongated sativa shade leaves combined with chubby indica-style buds, which is botanically unusual. Critical Cheese has intense flavor and aroma with hints of lemon, pine, perfume and cheese, and won 3rd prize in the 'Seed bank strains category' of the Secret Cup 2016 in Naples.

Critical Cheese is a high-yielding, easy-to-grow, vigorous marijuana plant that flowers fast and yields hard buds covered in resin. Indoor flowering period is 55-60 days with yields of 600g/m2, while outdoor harvest occurs at the end of September/beginning of October with yields of 700-1300g/plant. During the last two weeks of flowering, it gives off an extremely strong smell requiring anti-odor filters. It performs well indoors using any cultivation method, particularly SCROG. Outdoors, it responds best to temperate/dry climates and greenhouse protection. The plants can reach up to 250cm (8 feet) tall, which can be problematic when grown indoors. The strain is considered easy-to-grow, vigorous, and beginner-friendly, being almost bulletproof and forgiving.
