Critical Chronic Auto
Critical Chronic Auto
Overview
Critical Chronic Auto is an autoflowering cannabis strain developed by Sumo Seeds, representing an advanced version of their popular Critical Chronic genetics crossed with Cannabis ruderalis. The strain features a genetic composition of approximately 60% Indica, 20% Sativa, and 20% Ruderalis, creating a well-balanced hybrid with autoflowering capabilities. The lineage traces back to a complex breeding program where Sumo Seeds first created a "Chronic Master" by crossing their Master Skunk (containing Afghan, Colombian, and Thai genetics) with Chronic (Northern Lights x Skunk x AK47), then crossed this with Critical (Afghani and Skunk genetics). The autoflowering version was then developed by introducing ruderalis genetics to eliminate photoperiod dependency.
Critical Chronic Auto is renowned for its stability, uniformity, and exceptional yields despite its compact stature. Plants typically reach heights of 60-80cm indoors and 70-110cm outdoors, making them suitable for discreet cultivation. The strain thrives in all climates and forms one main bud with several side branches in sunny conditions. Due to its Skunk heritage, Critical Chronic Auto became particularly popular for its resistance to warm and dry climates, especially favored by growers in Southern Europe. The strain completes its full cycle from seed to harvest in approximately 6-9 weeks, making it an excellent choice for novice growers seeking reliable results with minimal attention required.

Growing Information
Critical Chronic Auto is considered an easy-to-grow strain suitable for both novice and experienced cultivators. It can be grown both indoors and outdoors with a flowering time of 42-49 days (6-7 weeks). Indoor yields range from 300-400g/m², while outdoor plants can produce 70-90g per plant. The strain is resistant to mold and moisture, making it particularly suitable for challenging growing conditions. Plants remain compact at 60-80cm indoors and 70-110cm outdoors. The strain forms dense, resinous buds and requires minimal nutrients during the vegetative stage, thriving on amended soil and water alone for much of its growth cycle.
