Critical Orange Punch
Critical Orange Punch
Also known as: Critical Orange Punch Auto
Overview
Critical Orange Punch is a feminized photoperiod cannabis strain developed by Dutch Passion through a three-way breeding program that began by crossing elite cuttings of Grandaddy Purple and Orange Bud (producing 'Orange Punch'). This strain was then crossed with a high yielding THC-rich Critical, which significantly improved yields thanks to the vigour of the Critical parent. This variety is the first Dutch Passion strain based on the excellent Kritikal Bilbo genetics from Spain. The final result earned a place in the High Times top 10 Auto Strains of 2018.
As a true hybrid cannabis plant, Critical Orange Punch exhibits a structure that is bigger than most Indica dominant plants and smaller than most Sativas. The plant structure is best described as medium to large, with medium internode distance and hybrid-structured leaves that tend towards a 50/50 hybrid. Critical Orange Punch produces super dense long dark olive green nugs with lots of thin orange hairs and a coating of frosty tiny white crystal trichomes. The strain is known for being easy to grow and suitable for beginners, with penetrating, fruity and earthy aromas and high yields.

Growing Information
Critical Orange Punch is a fast bloomer for a hybrid cannabis strain, with an average flowering phase of about 8-9 weeks. The strain produces medium to large plants with sturdy stems and dense buds, is easy-to-grow and suitable for beginners, requiring no special feeding schedules or growing techniques. It performs well in both SOG and SCROG cultivation methods, with even 1 plant per m² achieving great yields. When well looked after, expect heights around 1.5m and flowering to take 7-8 weeks. For indoor cultivation, growers can expect 120-150cm height with large yields in about 7-8 weeks, while outdoor plants should harvest around end of September/October with medium height and large yields. The strain is known for high yield and fast bloom time with a rich, skunky citrus flavor.
