Female Seeds wanted to make a very early-maturing outdoor strain, crossing a Maroc x Grapefruit mother with an inbred Auto NL x Auto NL x Auto Critical, resulting in an indica-dominant hybrid that flowers in record time and is very easy to grow. The strain was created to provide growers with a powerful, tasty variety that can be harvested early to avoid autumn rains.

Physically, Critical Sour develops into compact, sturdy plants with strong, flexible stems and wide internodes. The strain is indica-dominant and compact, with a sturdy and flexible stem and wide internodes, featuring an impressive flower-to-leaf ratio with much more flower than leaves. The plants produce thick, resinous and dense buds coated with a mass of trichomes, with vigorous production of thick, resinous and dense buds.
