Critical Sour Diesel CBD is a specially bred strain for the medical marijuana market, developed by Emerald Triangle Seeds. It is a high-yielding, medium-statured plant that was bred by adding the CBD sativa of Emerald Triangle to the Critical Bilbo x Sour Diesel cross making it a 60% sativa strain. This balanced hybrid combines the renowned fuel flavors of Sour Diesel with the stable genetics of Critical Bilbo, enhanced with CBD genetics to create a therapeutic strain with equal cannabinoid ratios. The strain was developed as a variant of the original Critical Sour Diesel specifically for medical cannabis users seeking balanced THC and CBD effects. The addition of the sativa CBD genetics give some pine notes to the sour diesel flavour. Critical Diesel CBD, just like its low CBD sister plant, is a strain that is easy to grow requiring no special knowledge or skills. Outdoors it will be harvested in the latter half of September; indoor growers will find that the high-CBD version takes a little longer at around 50 - 60 days. Yields under lights are very good and growers can expect something in the region of 500 gr/m2. Its buds grow very large and dense and it should be noted that they will require staking or some other form of support to mitigate against snapping branches. Again, mould resistance is very good so damp conditions need not be as serious a problem as it would be with some types of cannabis plants. The strain can be cultivated indoors, outdoors, and in greenhouse environments, making it versatile for different growing setups. Plant height is medium stature, making it manageable for most growing spaces.
