This strain represents a unique cross between two distinctive genetic lines: the mother was selected from Tom Hill's legendary Deep Chunk, a pure indica with Afghan landrace genetics known for exceptional resin production and sedative effects, while the father came from XXX OG S1 seeds. The breeding story is particularly interesting - the XXX OG male was originally supposed to be discarded when found in what were thought to be feminized seeds, but was rescued and used for this cross. The strain was further developed through an unconventional breeding process where F1 seeds were sent to friends in New York and Mexico, who made F2s that were then bred back together to create the final DDD OG line. This strain is characterized by its mostly indica genetics, combining the heavy resin production and sedative qualities of Deep Chunk with the potent OG characteristics of its XXX OG lineage.
