Death's Breath is a hybrid cannabis strain developed by two prominent breeders with distinct genetic lineages. The 7 East Genetics version originates from Death Bubba crossed with (Death Bubba x Sour Dragons Breath), while ThugPug Genetics created their version by crossing Deathstar with Mendo Breath F2. The 7 East Genetics variant was carefully bred through multiple generations, starting with an F1 line selected for terpenes and color, then backcrossed with the original Death Bubba mother. From 300 seeds grown to completion, they selected 3 stocky dense females and 2 well-stacked males for open pollination.

Both versions are indica/sativa hybrids with flowering times ranging from 60-75 days depending on the breeder. The ThugPug Genetics version flowers in 8-10 weeks with medium-tall plant height, while the 7 East Genetics version requires 70-80 days indoors. The 7 East Genetics strain is particularly suited for outdoor cultivation in northern climates, finishing outdoors by the end of September with above-average yields. Death's Breath exhibits a complex terpene profile featuring notes of rotten blueberries, lemon/lime, and fuel undertones. The strain represents a potent combination of its parent genetics, inheriting the sedating qualities of Death Bubba and the unique characteristics of its other parent strains.
