Deep 6ix is a pure indica cannabis strain developed by Lucky 13 Seeds as an F6 generation of the legendary Deep Chunk genetics originally preserved by breeder Tom Hill. Deep 6ix takes its name from the fact that we are releasing it in F6 format as clocked from our original accession, in addition to the fact that we selected 6 females and 6 males from a much larger pool for the open pollination of this iteration of Deep Chunk. Deep Chunk was originally an IBL when we obtained it from Tom Hill before he went dark, so it's impossible to know which filial generation this is in actuality. This strain represents a carefully refined version of the famous Afghan landrace genetics that were introduced to Northern California by breeder Tom Hill in the late 1970s.

Deep 6ix showcases the classic characteristics of its Afghan heritage with improvements to overall structure compared to previous generations, with selections biased towards phenotypes with taller stature and longer internode length. Deep 6ix will often transform from emerald green to a deep purple that borders on jet black in the final weeks of flowering.
