Deep Blue C
Deep Blue C
Also known as: Deep Blue C F2
Overview
Deep Blue C is a limited edition autoflowering strain from Mephisto Genetics, specifically an ruderalis/indica hybrid. This strain emerged from a cross between 24 Carat (Sour Boggle x Purple Indica) and Chem City Blues (Chemdogging x Auto Blues), representing one of Mephisto Genetics' most popular limited editions that has now been reproduced as an F2 selection and added to their main catalogue varieties. Originally developed in 2014, this strain has become renowned for its exceptional resin production and distinctive aromatic profile. The strain is characterized by big leaves and strong flavor, with the 24 Carat parent blessing everything it touches with hashy goodness, increased fan leaf size and strong aromas. Deep Blue C exhibits remarkable structural traits, with abnormally strong secondary branches that can equal or just sit below the main cola, which Mephisto Genetics coined the 'twin peaks' phenotype. The strain produces very frosty leaves and stems that make incredible hash with great flavor, and like several Mephisto strains, it's not uncommon to see 'trichy stalks'.

Growing Information
Deep Blue C is an autoflowering strain that can be cultivated both indoors and outdoors with a flowering time of approximately 60 days. Plants typically stay small throughout the grow, reaching around 40cm in height, making them suitable for compact growing spaces. The strain exhibits very main cola dominant growth, though LST can be used to pull side branches out. Expected harvest yields range from 90 to 120 grams per plant. Due to its powerful smell, breeders recommend using a carbon filter during cultivation. The strain is only available as feminized seeds and requires no light schedule changes due to its autoflowering nature. Growing difficulty is considered moderate, suitable for intermediate growers who can manage the intense odor production.
