Deep Chunk x X18
Deep Chunk x X18
Overview
Deep Chunk x X18 is an indica-dominant hybrid resulting from crossing two legendary indica lines from selections by the great Tom Hill: Afghani Deep Chunk and Pakistani X18. This strain represents the union of Deep Chunk, a pure indica with strong sedative properties originally cultivated and stabilized in Northern California from potent Afghani landrace genetics, and X18, a renowned true-breeding indica-type strain with roots in the Pakistani Hindu Kush that was introduced to Northern California in the 1980s. Both parent strains were developed by legendary breeder Tom Hill, who is known for preserving and working with landrace genetics.
The strain showcases beautiful and resinous plants resistant to pests, fungi and humidity. They are pretty stinky plants, emanating a wide array of aromas of citrus, vanilla, fruits, earth, coffee, solvent, roasted chicken, paprika, garlic, onions, cooked food and also acidic green apples. The strain is characterized by really being an explosion of aromas and colors, making it notable for its complex aromatic profile and visual appeal.
