DH1 is a clone-only cannabis cultivar developed by Patchwerk Genetics, representing a carefully selected phenotype from the Dan Haze F1 seed stock. This strain emerged from the breeding work of crossing a Ghanian Landrace mother with a Daffie F2 male, creating a unique hybrid that showcases the best characteristics of both parent lines. The Ghanian mother plant was originally selected from a collection of seeds brought to the United States from Ghana in the early 2000s and was specifically chosen for its exceptional lime and citrus terpene profile along with its potent cerebral effects. The male parent, Daffie F2, contributed structure and vigor to the offspring while adding complex chocolate and musk aromatic notes.

DH1 was selected from approximately 50 seeds of the Dan Haze F1 generation, with only the most vigorous plant chosen for clonal propagation. The strain produces distinctive golf ball-sized colas with a complex terpene profile featuring prominent notes of lemon, lime, soap, lemongrass, citranol, geranium, and pepper. The plant structure reflects the influence of the Daffie male parent, providing a more robust framework than the original Ghanian mother.
