Diablo OG Kush

Diablo OG Kush is a cannabis strain that emerged from Southern California's OG Kush scene in the late 2000s, gaining prominence across Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley dispensaries. This strain is commonly known as "Diablo Kush" or "Diablo OG" to most of the cannabis community, and emerged when clone-only OG cuts proliferated across Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley, being frequently listed alongside established names like SFV OG, Fire OG, and Ghost OG. There is some debate about its genetic lineage, with sources suggesting it is either a sativa dominant hybrid (85% sativa/15% indica) strain created by crossing OG Kush with South African Sativa strains, or alternatively a cross between an OG Kush parent and Diablo, a Sativa hybrid created by Canadian seed company Next Generation that won the British Columbia Harvest Cup in 2002. The creation of Diablo OG Kush strain is often credited to Los Angeles-based dispensary Reseda Discount Caregivers, though because the OG family is clone-dominant and naming often occurs post-selection, breeder-of-record documentation is scarce, making it best framed as part of the OG Kush family tree.

Diablo OG Kush produces dense compact medium-sized arrowhead-shaped neon green nugs with a thick spattering of furry rich amber hairs, completely caked with frosty white trichomes and a fine layer of sticky sweet resin. This strain boasts an insanely high THC level that ranges from 16-28% on average and a delicious lemony pine taste and floral lemony pine smell.
