D.K. Won
D.K. Won
Also known as: DK Won
Overview
D.K. Won is an indica-dominant feminized cannabis strain developed by Dr. Krippling Seeds, consisting predominantly of G13 Skunk genetics. This strain has been in development since 2011 and represents one of Dr. Krippling's 5th Anniversary strain collection releases. The genetics trace back to the legendary G13, which according to cannabis folklore was part of a collection of pure Afghani phenotypes labeled G1-G23 that were allegedly cloned by U.S. government agencies in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The strain produces medium to tall plants with dense, resinous buds that require additional support during flowering. D.K. Won is characterized by its powerful skunky aroma that can easily fill a room, making it unsuitable for discreet growing operations. The strain exhibits the classic indica characteristics with its relaxing and euphoric effects, making it particularly well-suited for evening use and stress relief applications.

Growing Information
D.K. Won is considered moderately easy to grow and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation. Indoor flowering time is approximately 48 days (6-7 weeks) from seed to harvest, with typical yields reaching up to 300g/m² indoors and up to 300-550g/m² under optimal conditions. Plants reach medium to tall heights, up to 1 meter indoors. Outdoor cultivators can expect harvest in early to mid-September. The strain responds well to SOG (Sea of Green) growing methods for larger buds, though extra support may be required due to heavy bud development. Adequate spacing between branches is essential for airflow, and careful pruning is recommended without cutting too much at once to avoid plant shock. The strain's powerful skunky odor makes it unsuitable for stealth growing operations.
