Erdbeer x Sweet Pink Grapefruit is an mostly sativa from Alpine-Seeds and can be cultivated indoors, outdoors and greenhouse (Where the plants will need a flowering time of ±59 days) This F1 hybrid was published due to popular demand as part of Alpine Seeds' project to develop stable strawberry genetics. The Erdbeer is a clone-only genetic since about 1994, based in Switzerland, where it was once very common. It is likely to be a sativa with Afghani genes. Sweet Pink Grapefruit is a sativa dominant hybrid strain (85% sativa/15% indica) created through crossing the delicious Grapefruit X another unknown sativa dominant hybrid strain.

The strain produces relatively stable plants with two slightly different phenotypes that differ in flavor and flower structure, where phenotype 1 goes a little more in the direction of strawberry, while phenotype 2 is a mixture of SPG and strawberry. Resin content is incredible, very sweet smell with slightly fruit undertones. The strain represents the work of Alpine Seeds, a collective of highly skilled breeders who became alarmed at what they see as a degradation of quality due to overuse of inbred genetics.
