Flurple
Also known as: Purple Flurp
Flurple Strain Overview
Flurple is a slightly indica dominant hybrid strain (60% indica/40% sativa) created through crossing the classic Deep Purple X The Flav strains. Its lineage, a blend of Afghan, Brazilian, Colombian, Indian, Mexican, and Thai origins, encapsulates a global cannabis heritage that has been bred by Exotic Genetix. The strain was one of the three base strains that helped establish Exotic Genetix, making it historically significant for the breeding company.
Flurple is renowned for its striking visual appeal and complex aromatic profile. The strain has beautiful fluffy spade-shaped oversized forest green nugs with deep purple undertones, minty long hairs and a coating of frosty chunky purple-tinted amber crystal trichomes. As you pull apart each sparkling little nugget, aromas of fresh sweet berries and spicy grapes are released with a tinge of diesel, too, while the mix just reeks of sour pungent grapey goodness. The flavor profile is similarly complex, with a light pungency that is sour yet super sweet.

Flurple Strain Growing Information
Flurple can be cultivated indoors and outdoors with a flowering time of approximately 60 days. The strain has an average flowering time of 56 days to 55-65 days depending on growing conditions. The strain is easy to grow whether un-topped or topped into shrub-form. The Deep Purple parent couldn't grow over 3 feet if she wanted when un-topped, while The Flav parent contributed needed height and structure to the offspring. Exotic Genetix's Flurple was never available as feminized seeds. Growers report that many keepers are to be found in these babies, indicating good phenotype variation for selection.
