Frost Boss is a balanced 50/50 hybrid strain created by crossing Mob Boss with Timewreck. Developed by Homegrown Natural Wonders, a Pacific Northwest family farm with three generations of cannabis breeders, the company has won three consecutive 1st Place Overall Awards at the Oregon Medical Cannabis Awards. The origin of Frost Boss can be traced back to a time of significant experimentation in hybrid breeding, where early growers were keen to blend the best attributes of its indica and sativa lineage. Homegrown Natural Wonders set out with a clear vision: to create a strain that could offer both robust euphoria and deep relaxation. By experimenting with various hybrids, the breeders crafted a strain that pays homage to discontinued classics while forging its distinct identity.

This cross worked out so well that breeders had trouble deciding which phenotypes to keep and develop because every one of them looked fantastic. The bulky, frosty buds from the MOB BOSS heritage come through for sure along with plenty of terpene character to add to the speedier growth of TIMEWRECK. There is a TIMEWRECK dominant phenotype that is heavier yielding, but these are mostly a 50/50 mix, and there is a Connoiseur Cut with small, super-resinous buds. Early indications suggest that its high resin content and consistent yield make it a candidate for commercial production on a larger scale.
