Fruit Cup Strain Overview
Fruit Cup is a hybrid cannabis creation bred on the West Coast from famous Cali genetics. She is a cross of Girl Scout Cookies and Purple Punch, resulting in a well-balanced, indica-dominant hybrid. Fruit Cup is an evenly balanced hybrid strain (50% indica/50% sativa) created through crossing the iconic Girl Scout Cookies X Purple Punch strains. Fruit Cup emerged in the late 2010s as part of the dessert-forward wave of American hybrids. The strain has been developed by multiple breeders including The Cali Connection and Dominion Seed Company.
This bud has oversized and fat, conical olive green nugs with dark purple leaves, thick orange hairs and a super frosty coating of chunky, purple-tinted white crystal trichomes. Her thick, frosty buds combine delicious hints of fresh citrus with the soothing scent of lavender. Take another whiff, and you might even detect sweet chocolate and mint, reminiscent of her Girl Scout Cookies parent. Fruit Cup is very vigorous and easy to grow in different setups, and her buds produce a mouth-watering aroma and balanced effects similar to those of GSC. These two strains come together to offer a plant with high levels of resin, a splendid aroma and very powerful effects. For its part, this variety is resistant and easy to grow, and is characterized by its slender and branched growth.

Fruit Cup Strain Growing Information
Fruit Cup takes roughly 9–10 weeks to flower and can produce up to 250–300g/m². Yield: 200-280 gpsm Flower Time 65-69 days Flowering takes 9 - 10 weeks and the number of bud sites can be increased markedly by topping to encourage a bushy growth producing a vast array of buds. Yields are very decent without being enormous and growers should expect to harvest somewhere in the region of 200 - 280 gr/m2. When growing Fruit Cup indoors, keep in mind that it develops into a slender, branched plant. Its vigorous vertical growth and abundant branching require adequate space for it to thrive. In fact, it is advisable to undertake different training techniques such as topping to increase its performance and promote the formation of buds. Its flexibility allows it to adapt well to techniques such as SOG (Sea of Green) or SCROG (Screen of Green), as well as pruning and other training. The strain is considered easy to grow and suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation, with good resistance to pests and mold. Fruit Cup also adapts well to outdoors growth and its resistance makes it suitable for beginner growers.
