Ganesh Berry
Ganesh Berry
Also known as: Ganesh x Plushberry, Zion's Ganesh Berry
Ganesh Berry Strain Overview
Ganesh Berry is a 100% pure indica hybrid strain created by breeders at the infamous Zion Botanical Farms as a potent cross between the insanely popular Ganesh X TGA's Plushberry strains. However, it's not a pure indica, because Ganesh includes North Indian Sativa genetics from the province of Uttarkhand, and even Plushberry has some Sativa. Ganesh Berry is the brainchild of Zion Botanicals (Washington State, USA), who tested several Mandala strains in their greenhouses and were particularly impressed by our Ganesh. So much so, one of their earliest creations, dating back to 2014, was an enticing high-THC cross between Ganesh and TGA's Plushberry.
The strain displays impressive visual characteristics, featuring thick dense dark olive green grape-shaped nugs with rich purple undertones and thin translucent hairs. These nugs are dusted with a fine layer of thick chunky white trichomes and sweet sticky resin. This limited edition of Ganesh Berry has two major phenotypes: purple and green. There are also some variations in stretch, but the differences are well managed even in small indoor spaces. The strain inherits its appealing aesthetics and flavor profile from its parent genetics, particularly the berry flavors from Plushberry and the robust growing characteristics from its North Indian and Afghani heritage.

Ganesh Berry Strain Growing Information
Because of its impressive growth profile, Ganesh Berry is among the top beginner strains to cultivate. Ganesh Berry has an indoor flowering period of 8 to 10 weeks. Once mature, growers harvest between 12 to 14 ounces of cured buds per square meter. Flowering time (indoor) 60-65 days for the Mandala Seeds version. In the northern hemisphere, Ganesh Berry blossoms between the second to the last week of October. Once ready for harvest, it yields at least 14 ounces of buds per plant. Ganesh Berry is resilient and relatively easy to grow, exhibiting a shorter flowering time typical of indica strains. The well-balanced hybrid performs well indoors too, especially when cultivated using the Screen of Green method. Using hydroponics will encourage the plant to yield faster but soil undoubtedly brings out the best flavors. The strain shows good resistance to mold and environmental stress, making it suitable for both novice and experienced growers.
