Gelato 33
Gelato 33
Also known as: Larry Bird, G33
Overview
Gelato 33 is a hybrid marijuana strain made by crossing Sunset Sherbet and Thin Mint GSC. Also known as Larry Bird, Gelato (#33) was first cultivated in Northern California's Bay Area and is derived from a deep bank of genetics created by the Cookie Family, the Sherbinskis family, and cultivator Mario Guzman. The numbers in the Gelato line (such as 33) are actually the numbers of their pots, as Sherbinski had about a hundred plants. The Gelato 33 is nicknamed Larry Bird, referencing the legendary Boston Celtics basketballer who wore the same number. Per Sherbinskis, the #33 phenotype is no longer in cultivation.
Gelato 33 buds have large and lumpy super dense grape-shaped dark forest green nugs with rich purple and orange hairs and a super sticky coating of visible resin droplets. Gelato 33 is a hybrid with indica dominance, approximately 55% indica and 45% sativa. Indica strains typically offer intense body relaxation, ideal for pain relief and relaxation, while sativas generally provide a stimulating cerebral effect, perfect for creativity and social activities. Gelato 33 combines the best of both worlds, offering deep relaxation along with a joyful euphoria. The Gelato 33 strain (aka Larry Bird) is one of the most sought-out strains of the last decade.
