Glass Slipper
Glass Slipper
Also known as: White Slipper
Overview
Glass Slipper is a sativa-dominant hybrid cannabis strain that originated in the Netherlands and has become renowned for its potent effects and complex genetics. The strain is believed to be a cross between The White (evolved from the OG Kush family line) and Cinderella 99 (a Brothers Grimm classic), creating a fusion that retains the Kushy elements of the mother while adding an interesting floral-sweet-fruity profile and more cerebral effects from Cinderella 99. However, some sources indicate it may be a cross between a Cinderella 99 Pineapple phenotype backcross and an F1 male from Brothers Grimm original seeds.
Glass Slipper produces small to medium-sized buds with a popcorn-like shape when cured, featuring a dense, indica-typical structure. The strain's leaves appear green to deep yellow, and the flowers are coated in sticky, milky-white trichomes, making this a difficult strain to break up by hand. The aroma is strikingly sweet and fruity with particularly tropical notes, accompanied by a bit of dank earthiness underneath this candy-like profile, reminiscent of Cinderella 99. The strain's name may reference both the fairy tale connection to Cinderella 99 and its glassy coating of trichomes.

Growing Information
Glass Slipper is considered an easy strain to grow, making it ideal for beginners. The strain flowers indoors at 9-10 weeks and grows up to 6 feet, thriving best in a Mediterranean climate. Indoor yields reach 16-20 ounces per square meter, while outdoor cultivation allows flowering until late September to early October. Expected outdoor yield is about 24 ounces per plant. Breeders recommend training the plant by pruning and bending branches early in the flowering cycle. Glass Slipper does well in soil or hydro setups, grows medium-tall when given adequate root space, yields larger than The White alone, and tends to form a strong central cola despite moderate side branching, making it good for SCROG. Coco coir works especially well with this plant, matching hydro yields but offering more flavor.
