Golosa is an 80% indica and 20% sativa hybrid bred by Delicious Seeds. The strain is made from a genetic cross between Grapefruit and Blueberry, which was then crossed with Bay 11. The name translates into English as sweet toothed, greedy, or tempting in Spanish, which perfectly describes this strain's appealing characteristics. Golosa was developed as part of Project 11, which is led by one of the top breeders at Delicious Seeds and required 4 years of genetic development.
This strain is particularly noted for its dark colors that turn almost jet black towards the end of flowering. The buds display fluffy and rounded, grape-shaped olive green nugs with thin red-orange hairs and tiny white trichomes. Golosa won the 1st prize of the Cannabis Cup Castellon-2018 in the extraction category, highlighting its quality for concentrate production. The strain produces heavy resin production that makes it resistant to pests and mold and is considered very resistant and will not be affected by mould or other pests.

Golosa is easy-to-grow, quick flowering, high yielding, and does not require special growing conditions. The strain is a medium-sized plant with very little branching and will finish flowering in around 60 days, specifically 55–60 days indoors. Indoor yields reach up to 550g/m² while outdoor plants can produce 1000g or more to up to 1500g/plant. Outdoor harvest time is mid-September. The strain thrives best when grown indoors but can as well thrive in outdoor conditions especially in warm climatic conditions. It gives medium-sized and unbranched plants, adapting perfectly to cultivation in SOG or Sea Of Green.
