Gorilla Princess
Gorilla Princess
Also known as: GP
Overview
Gorilla Princess is a hybrid cannabis strain created by Equilibrium Genetics through crossing Gorilla Glue #4 with a male hybrid of (Cinderella 99 x Tahoe OG). This strain was developed in East Oakland, California in a garden situated atop a roof of a historic house built in the 1880's, using GG#4 cuttings from the first tray to arrive at the Oakland Harborside Health Center in 2014. The strain is characterized as an early finishing, high yielding, high testing hybrid with outdoor samples testing up to 27% THC. Female Gorilla Princess plants are highly resinous and exude distinctive aromas of fuel, chocolate, and citrus. The strain has become popular among breeders and is used extensively in creating new hybrids, with Equilibrium Genetics having developed numerous crosses using Gorilla Princess genetics. This cultivar combines the potency and resin production of its Gorilla Glue #4 parent with the cerebral effects and faster flowering characteristics contributed by the Cinderella 99 x Tahoe OG lineage.

Growing Information
Gorilla Princess can be cultivated both indoors and outdoors and is available as feminized seeds. The strain is noted for being an early finishing, high yielding variety, making it attractive to commercial growers. Male Gorilla Princess plants are described as stretchy, quick to flower, and healthy, indicating vigorous growth characteristics. The strain appears to be relatively easy to grow with good disease resistance, though specific flowering times and exact yield information for the pure Gorilla Princess strain are limited in available sources. Indoor cultivation is suitable, and the strain can handle both soil and hydroponic growing methods. Plants produce highly resinous flowers with strong aromatic profiles, requiring good ventilation and odor control during cultivation.
