Also known as: Sour Grapes
What is the Grape Stomper strain?
Grape Stomper is a hybrid cannabis strain with up to 26.0% THC, known for its uplifted effects and berry and candy flavor profile.
Grape Stomper, more commonly known as "Sour Grapes" is a craft hybrid marijuana strain created by Gage Green Seeds. A complex cross between breeder JojoRizo's Purple Elephant and breeder Elite Seeds' Chemdawg Sour Diesel, Grape Stomper has quite the pedigree. Grape Stomper is predominantly a sativa-dominant hybrid, consisting of 70% sativa and 30% indica genetics. Originally cultivated as a clone-only variety by breeder Jojorizo, the strain's conservation and wider distribution became possible when Gage Green Genetics successfully converted it into seed form. This bud has dense forest green spade-shaped nugs with bright orange hairs and a frosty coating of oversized chunky white crystal trichomes. Its sweet and sour grape candy flavor is deceptively delicious and often leads to users having a little too much at once, especially given that its THC level falls between 18-26% on average. There are many strains out there with "grape" in the name, but Grape Stomper is one of the originals. True to its name, this strain smells like grape. The aroma released from the buds is a sweet, tangy Grape candy scent, which is thick and intoxicating compared to many of the other supposed "grape" strains (Grape Ape, Sour Grape, etc.). The flavor matches the smell very well and translates directly into a thick, velvety smoke that leaves an aftertaste of sweet, floral grape.
