Green Honduras Haze Strain Overview
Green Honduras Haze is the result of the direct cross between our Green Haze #19 mother and our best first generation Honduran sativa males, creating an extremely tropical, vigorous and productive 100% sativa, true F1 hybrid. This strain was developed by ACE Seeds as part of their mission to preserve and recreate the classic sativa genetics of the 1960s and 1970s. Its psychoactivity and terpene profiles of Haze and old Colombians will take you back decades to when true sativas had no trace of indica influence. Green Honduras Haze differs from its sister Purple Honduras Haze by having, on average, a more compact structure and generally finishing flowering with green colours (despite low temperatures during bloom), although both share a personality, psychoactivity, potency and very similar terpene profiles.
The strain combines the legendary Haze genetics with robust Honduran landrace characteristics, resulting in excellent hybrid vigor provided by Honduras, in itself a very productive pure sativa. The Honduran influence also works to shorten the flowering time of the Haze by 2-3 weeks, without even slightly diluting the extreme sativa profile. Its structure is typical of a pure sativa, with thin, flexible branches and very narrow, long, light green leaves that can withstand any showers and blizzards that may occur during the fall. It adapts well to different climatologies, and although it is ideal for countries with tropical climate it can also be grown without problems in Spain or in Mediterranean countries where autumns are warm and mild.
