Grüne Hessin (The Green Hessian) is an accidental hybrid that originated from a hermaphroditic Jaggen plant pollinating a Warlock female in the grow room of 'Der Grüne Hesse' in Hesse, Germany. This strain was later widely spread throughout central Europe including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, and the Benelux countries. It quickly established itself as an elite clone-only strain and became part of the legendary Hanfburg community strains. The strain represents a 50/50 indica/sativa hybrid with high THC levels ranging from 20-25% and low CBD content under 1%.
The plant exhibits vigorous, bushy growth with strong lateral branch development and notable stretch during early flowering while remaining structured and controllable. Indoor plants typically reach 100-120cm in height while outdoor specimens can grow up to 200cm. The flowering period is approximately 60 days indoors, with outdoor harvests occurring from mid to late October. Both indoor and outdoor yields are reported as very high, making it particularly suitable for Screen of Green (ScroG) techniques.
