GTR is an exotic and rare cannabis strain developed by legendary breeder Leo Stone in collaboration with Aficionado Seed Collection. Named after the famous Nissan Skyline GTR sports car, this strain represents what the breeders describe as their 'loudest GAS creation yet.' The genetics trace back to a complex three-way cross of G6 Jet Fuel (clone only), Topanga Canyon OG, and Original Diesel BX1, with the Original Diesel component being a backcross of authentic Sour Diesel with an Afghani/Chemdawg male. This lineage creates a strain that maintains strong Sour Diesel characteristics while adding modern complexity and potency.

GTR is distinguished by its intense diesel aroma profile complemented by earthy, fuel, and gassy notes that have been described as overwhelming and distinctive. The strain produces dense, resinous buds with a deep green hue, streaked with gold coloring and covered in crystalline trichomes. Only approximately 400 boxes of GTR seeds were ever produced worldwide, making it extremely rare in the cannabis market. The plant structure tends to be short and stocky with fat, dense buds from top to bottom, yielding above-average harvests when grown under proper conditions.
