Gush Mints is an indica-dominant hybrid strain created by Purple City Genetics through a complex three-way cross of Kush Mints, F1 Durb, and Gushers. This strain represents a culmination of popular Cookies family genetics, combining the best attributes of its renowned parent strains. Originally developed by the Bay Area-based Purple City Genetics collective founded in Oakland, California in 2008, Gush Mints has become one of their flagship hybrids and earned significant recognition in the cannabis community, including 1st place in the flower category at the 2023 Hash Bash in Michigan and 3rd place at the 2022 Emerald Cannabis Cup.
Visually, Gush Mints produces dense, conical buds with deep green coloration that develops striking purple undertones as it matures. The flowers are generously coated with a thick layer of frosty, gritty trichomes that give them a sparkling, crystal-like appearance, while bright orange pistils weave throughout the structure. The strain exhibits classic indica-dominant characteristics with tightly spaced internodes and produces long, spear-like colas with a high flower-to-leaf ratio.
