What is the Gush Mintz strain?
Gush Mintz is a hybrid cannabis strain with up to 30.0% THC, known for its relaxed effects and berry and cherry flavor profile.
Gush Mintz is a heavy, indica-dominant hybrid strain cross of Kush Mints and the combination of F1 Durb and Gushers, bred by Bay Area-based Purple City Genetics. Purple City Genetics is a cannabis collective founded in Oakland, California in 2008 with a large grow operation and laboratory in Oakland where it produces all of its clones and seed stock for large-scale commercial cannabis producers, dispensaries, and home growers. As a culmination of multiple popular Cookies family strains, Gush Mintz exhibits many of their beloved attributes: gassy, sweet terps with piney notes; dense, dark green and purple nugs coated in trichomes; and a body-zapping high that puts the mind at ease.
This bud has dense and conical dusty green nugs with deep purple undertones, lots of leaves and thin orange hairs coated with tiny, purple-tinted white crystal trichomes. It claimed 1st position in the flower category at the 2023 Hash Bash in Michigan, and in 2022, the Gush Mints weed strain earned 3rd place at the Emerald Cannabis Cup. The strain has gained considerable popularity among both recreational and medical cannabis users for its potent effects and unique flavor profile. "Gush Mints was designed with farmers in mind. We wanted to produce a cultivar that was able to sell as a top-shelf exotic but was easy to grow and had a huge yield."
