Haole Moonshine is a cannabis strain created by Dragons Flame Genetics (DFG), developed as the breeder's final project while living in Hawaii. This strain represents several years of careful selection and breeding work, culminating in what the breeder describes as an exceptional combination. The strain was created by crossing Blackberry Moonshine BX1 with Modified Macberry Moonshine, both being proprietary DFG creations. Haole Moonshine exhibits a complex terpene profile with multiple phenotypic expressions, ranging from funky, boozy citrus rind notes to dank ammonia/cat piss characteristics, as well as piney and skunky variations. The strain is noted for producing highly resinous, sticky flowers with strong aromatic qualities. Plants demonstrate excellent mold and mildew resistance, making them suitable for challenging growing environments. The strain was released in limited quantities due to production challenges caused by Hawaii's high humidity affecting pollen viability, with only 91 total packs made available to the public.
