Hawaiian Puff is a sativa cannabis strain developed by Lucky 13 Seed Company as part of a project to reclaim the original Hawaiian Sativa. The strain was created by combining the cannabis cup winning Godbud clone (a three way cross of God, Purple Skunk, and Hawaiian) with Blue Hawaiian Sativa and grew out a huge crop for selection. Over multiple generations they backcrossed to the most Hawaiian phenotype, successfully resurrecting the lost genetics they had been craving.
The strain exhibits some of the most colourful and resinous offspring that we've seen in a sativa, with many plants displaying cannabis cup caliber flowers and neon pink pistils. She fills the air with exotic aromas of berry, anise and sweet hash; and produces copious quantities of resin (sometimes purple resin). Her enticing display of vibrant green, lavender and indigo hues tempt the eyes as well as the palette. Hawaiian Puff represents a modern effort to preserve authentic Hawaiian cannabis genetics that were being lost to faster-flowering indoor varieties.

Hawaiian Puff Strain Growing Information
Growth is fast, tall, and mostly vertical with little side branching. Most Hawaiian Puff plants will finish in 9-10 weeks (you can harvest earlier for a more heady sativa experience). She will grow very big, very quickly, with most phenotypes almost doubling in height during the flowering stage. Hawaiian Puff prefers a well-balanced organic soil and lots of root space. She likes slightly higher humidity during veg and early flowering, but past week three of bloom you'll want to keep humidity low to avoid mould issues. Best grown with natural sunlight to bring out pink pistils. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation, though requires attention to humidity control in late flowering to prevent mold.
