What is the Hell Breath strain?

Hell Breath is a hybrid cannabis strain with up to 30.0% THC, known for its euphoric effects and bakery and diesel flavor profile.

Hell Breath is an indica-dominant hybrid strain (70% indica/30% sativa) created through crossing the iconic OGKB 2.0 X 3 Chems strains. Named for its breeder's connection to Hell's Kitchen, NYC, this strain features genetics from an award-winning OGKB 2.0 mother that took home 1st place in both Overall and Indica categories at the IC 420 Grower's Cup in 2015. Bred by Mycotek, Hell Breath represents an outstanding combination of the award-winning female OGKB and a male 3 Chems from Top Dawg Seeds. The OGKB 2.0 parent came from a bag seed found by @chunkypigs in a batch of OGKB cookies purchased at a Bay Area dispensary in 2014.

Hell Breath buds have oversized and heavy, dense pepper-shaped dark olive green nugs with dark purple undertones, thin orange hairs and chunky, purple-tinted white crystal trichomes. The strain produces dense nugs covered with crystal trichomes and purple hues, with incredibly potent and dense nuggets that are jam packed full of resin. This cross represents an excellent marriage between the Chem's fuel and sour flavor along with the raisin cookie dough funkiness of the OGKB 2.0 cookies. Users report exceptional potency and it has been described as among the best tasting strains available, with terpenes remaining fresh even after months of storage.

How do you grow Hell Breath?

Hell Breath is mostly indica and can be cultivated indoors and outdoors with plants needing a flowering time of ±70 days. The strain has an average yield and was never available as feminized seeds. The strain's balanced genes make it suitable for Sea of Green (SOG) growing or Screen of Green (SCROG) depending on the phenotype, and these methods can be done together with Low Stress Training (LST) to promote air ventilation. Growers can expect purple phenotypes, and it appears to be a good candidate to let grow to 18" and flower without topping. Some phenotypes may go a full 12 weeks in flowering time.
