The strain is a cross between 'Mendo Mystery,' a Mendo-Purp cultivar from Harborside, and the Alien Rift male. Alien Rift itself is a three-way cross between Alien Abduction, Alien Dawg ("Ether" cut), and Alien OG, specifically developed for enhanced hash production.
Houdini Rift buds have super sticky and long spade-shaped olive green nugs with thick reddish orange hairs and a coating of tiny purple-tinted white crystal trichomes. The strain exhibits a sweet and sugary fruity candy flavor that turns slightly sour upon exhale, with an aroma featuring a sugary berry overtone that becomes heavily tangy and sour when burned. Nearly every phenotype displays extremely 'fruity' terpene profiles reminiscent of grape candy.
