Indigo Child Strain Overview
Indigo Child is a very special phenotype of Star Pupil S1 discovered by MassMedicalStrains in Hawaii. It was sprouted and found by a friend (@alohaislandgenetics) who was hunting through Star Pupil feminized seeds. He contacted the breeder saying that while there were many good phenotypes, one had a super special effect even better than the rest, and people didn't want anything else. The strain has the most psychedelic, healing, euphoric, and childlike effect ever; the healing positive mindset from a true Indigo Child experience is felt long after the effects of smoking wear off. This strain totally changed the breeder's life, with unbelievably positive feedback from others who have found her as well. Other growers have reportedly found this rare phenotype in Star Pupil fem seeds too. While most Star Pupil plants finish in 9 weeks of flowering, the Indigo Child phenotype is faster, completing in 7.5 weeks. The plant displays pink (instead of deep purple) flowers, grows slower in vegetative stage but stretches bigger to compensate, initiates bloom slower than other phenotypes, and finishes faster. Flowers are very pink-purple with signature traits of Star Pupil, appearing a bit "brighter" in both color and terpenes.

Best harvest time is at 7 weeks of flowering indoors under 11/13 light cycle for maximum effect. Taking it too long causes it to lose its magic, so harvesting slightly early is beneficial. The best indoor smoke comes from flowering under 1000w or 600w Metal Halide lamps, which brings out proper vibes and terps closest to sun grown expression. Should not be grown under HPS as it causes a drastic shift in expression with more generic myrcene and less of the "good stuff." Plants prefer about 700-750 PPFD of full spectrum lighting in flower. If tops get green instead of purple, reduce light intensity. Not as hungry for light as some strains and will form very dense buds.
