Jack Flash
Jack Flash
Also known as: Jack Flash #5 (feminized version)
Overview
Jack Flash was created by the renowned cannabis breeder Sensi Seeds, which set out to improve on the legendary Jack Herer by creating a hybrid that combined these powerful genes with the highly sought-after growing attributes of a Skunk. The breeder mixed Jack Herer female with Sensi's Super Skunk and Haze to produce trichome-rich buds, high THC, and low CBD, according to Amsterdam Seed Center. This cup-winning variety won 3rd Place at the High Times Cannabis Cup 2004 in the category Best Cannabis. Jack Flash Regular is 55% indica and 45% sativa, making it an almost balanced hybrid that offers the best of both worlds. As the first stable hybrid bred from the Jack Herer line, the original Jack Flash was created by back-crossing a Jack Herer mother with a blend of Super Skunk and Haze in order to stabilize and refine the most desired traits of all three strains. The four phenotypes of Jack Herer have been narrowed down to two in Jack Flash, one more indica in growth and one more sativa. According to growers, this strain flowers into sticky nugs with olive and dark green foliage covered with patches of orange hairs. Jack Flash buds are generally dense and covered in a thick layer of white trichomes, with colors ranging from deep green to light green, and they may have orange or brownish pistils.

Growing Information
Jack Flash is reportedly easy to grow, vigorously growing swollen calyxes that are stacked upon one another and heavily coated in resin in an eight-to-nine-week flowering cycle. According to Sensi Seeds, Jack Flash produces very large yields when grown indoors or in a warm, sunny outdoor environment. Jack Flash Regular requires an average amount of time to complete its flowering. Growers can anticipate the flowering stage to take around 70 days in total. When cultivated outdoors, the plants can reach staggering heights. In fact, it's not uncommon for them to grow as tall as 180 to 250 cm. Inside, growers report harvesting around 500 grams per square metre. Outside, grow reports mention about 600 grams per plant, which is much more plentiful than average sativa harvests. Overall, this strain was a pleasure to grow, if a bit demanding. If you're looking for an incredibly productive plant, this is one of the best options on the market. However, due to its explosive growth and towering height, it may not be a suitable choice for growers with limited space.
