Jack's Cleaner emerged from a legendary breeding story that began in the mid-1990s when breeder Subcool traded seeds with an online friend named Skoosh. Of the 200 seeds Subcool received, one phenotype stood out with a distinctive lemon cleaner aroma. He named this plant "The Cleaner" and crossed it with a Jack Herer male, producing 35 seeds from which the legendary Jack's Cleaner was selected. According to breeder TGA Genetics' Subcool, the original strain's genetics included a mix of Pluton, Lambsbread, Purple Haze, and Northern Lights seeds, with the selected phenotype having a particularly lemony scent but being too spindly for adequate harvests until crossed with Jack Herer. This legendary strain is considered by many to be the "holy grail of Cannabis," known as a large heavy producer with ultra white raised trichomes that give the plant a gooey appearance, featuring heavy citrus with an overpowering lemon smell and taste.
The buds of Jack's Cleaner are golden yellow and covered in a sticky coating of frosty white trichomes, with nuggets that are long and rounded, sometimes having cone tips.
