K-13 Strain Overview
K-13, also known as Easy Haze or K-13 Haze, is a sativa-dominant hybrid strain developed by Philosopher Seeds. The variety is a self-pollination (S1) of a Special K plant which inherited the best qualities of both parents: strong, dense and compact structure from its ascendent Yumbolt, and its thin leaflets, incense aroma and clear sativa effect from its second parent, Kali Mist (Western Winds). This strain consists of 70% Sativa and 30% Indica genetics.
The strain gained recognition by winning 3rd place in the resins category at the Cannabis Champions Cup 2011 Spannabis. K-13 is renowned for its unique combination of traditional Haze characteristics with a more manageable size and structure compared to typical Haze varieties. Both the taste and scent of this Haze variety have citric and metallic notes, reminiscent of tropical pineapples. As the curing process advances, delicious spicy hints will be easily detected. The strain produces dense, resinous buds that are completely covered in bright trichomes, giving them an impressive frosty appearance.
