Kalashnikova Strain Overview
Kalashnikova is an indica-dominant hybrid (80% indica/20% sativa) developed by Green House Seeds. Created through crossing AK-47 with White Widow, this strain was named after the creator of the AK-47 rifle and inherits the legendary genetics of AK-47, which itself derives from Mexican, Colombian, Thai and Afghani varieties. The strain was developed to enhance the resin production capabilities of its parent strains, combining the structure and calyx formation of AK-47 with the exceptional resin production of White Widow.
Kalashnikova produces medium-size plants with dense foliage that are very branchy in structure. The buds are characterized by their beautiful lime-colored appearance, dense structure with slight tapering on one end, and are snuggled comfortably under a thick layer of white trichomes that shine like crystals when hit by light. The buds have dense and lumpy round olive green nugs with sparse amber hairs and a thick frosty coating of chunky oversized amber crystal trichomes. This strain is notable for being easy and productive, making it perfect for both beginners and experienced growers, while resistant to most environmental hardships and disease.
