Karel's Herer Haze

Hybrid

Also known as: Karel's Haze X Jack Herer

Karel's Herer Haze Strain Overview

Karel's Herer Haze is a sativa-dominant hybrid strain developed by Super Sativa Seed Club that represents a sophisticated cross between two legendary cannabis varieties: Jack Herer and Karel's Haze. Combining powerhouse varieties Jack Herer with our own Karel's Haze has produced a very strong and potent sativa-leaning hybrid which we call Karel's Herer Haze. The plants have a clear 75% sativa content with an active, creative high. This strain was created to address the lengthy flowering time of traditional Jack Herer genetics while maintaining their exceptional quality. Unfortunately, this Jack Herer mother also has a 13-14 week bloom time which we needed to reduce in the subsequent hybridisation. When the Jack Herer was crossed with our best selling Karel's Haze the bloom time of the resulting Karel's Herer Haze was nearer 10-11 weeks.

The strain exhibits classic sativa characteristics in both appearance and effects. Karel's Herer Haze plants are medium/tall in height, with large blooms. The plant produces dense, resinous buds with the most intense citrus sativa terpene profile that we have yet encountered, alongside an open sativa bud structure and a sativa growth pattern with a thick coating of trichomes. The aromatic profile is particularly complex, featuring intensely citrus, with gassy/fuel elements that create an unusually aromatic blend of gassy and hazy citrus fruitiness which produces a smooth vape/smoke with several delicious layers of flavour.

Karel's Herer Haze Strain Growing Information

This strain, is without a doubt, ideal for outdoor growers. These plants need plenty of space and a healthy, sandy, slightly acidic soil to really reach their full potential. Indoors, Karel's Herer Haze is pretty unmanageable, unless you veg her for only a few weeks and use plenty of training to control her stretch, especially during flowering, which lasts roughly 11 weeks. Like many sativas, it is best to take it easy with the fertilizer when feeding Karel's Herer Haze, as these plants tend to be a little more sensitive to feeding than other varieties. Organic soils and fertilizers work exceptionally well on this strain and we recommend growing her outside in a sunny spot where she can stretch and tower over the rest of your garden as she pleases. The flowering time is approximately 10-11 weeks, making it more manageable than the 13-14 week flowering period of pure Jack Herer. Grown under lights, 10-12 plants of this cultivar in 5 L pots can generate a yield of approximately 400-450 g/m2.
