Kaua'i Electric is a 100% pure sativa strain native to the islands of Hawaii, specifically the Powerline Trail near Mt. Wai'ale'ale, one of the rainiest regions on Earth. This strain is one of the most legendary Hawaiian landrace strains on Earth and for good reason. Each dense little nug is coated with a super thick frosty layer of tiny amber crystal trichomes and dotted with furry amber hairs. As you break apart each little nugget, rich tropical berry aromas can be detected as well as a hefty hit of skunky earth.
According to a local origin story, the strain was born from a cross of sativa and indica genetics by a grower named Lee on the east side of Kauai. Outdoors, this is a very robust beauty, with heavy flowering requiring bracing for the long laden arms, of a medium frame plant reaching approximately 6 feet. One thing cultivators really like about this strain is how easy it is to grow; it is not light sensitive, it drinks well, and has a quick veg time. It is also the most PM-resistant strain many have encountered, almost impossible for it to get powdery mildew.
