After the original SSSC adventure ended, Karel Schelfhout saved one very important plant, a daughter of the original Haze and Skunk#1. Karel kept cuttings of this precious plant for more than 30 years and named her 'Old School Haze'. In 2015, Karel's son Kees discovered that his father had been secretly growing Old School Haze in a hidden place for all these years. Being a breeder himself, Kees became convinced that the old genetics were very valuable and set out to reintroduce the original taste and quality of Haze. The strain bears all the characteristics of a pure sativa variety: long, towering colas, tall overall stature and lanky branches. The buds produce dark musky, ammonia-like aromas combined with a fresh citrus touch, and when smoked provide a real hazy experience with a great trippy effect.
