Kerala Krush
Also known as: Kerala Kush
Kerala Krush Strain Overview
Kerala Krush is an 85% sativa dominant hybrid strain created by Flying Dutchmen through crossing Skunk #1 with a South Indian landrace sativa. The strain originates from Kerala, a region along the southern tip of India known for producing some of the world's finest sativa landraces, which cannabis explorers have traveled far to sample and preserve. In developing Kerala Krush, the breeders took a Kerala landrace and improved upon it using Skunk #1, which added additional yields and improved potency for the sturdy sativa.
The buds display oversized fluffy, airy spade-shaped forest green nugs with a thick layer of long thin fiery orange hairs and visible droplets of sweet sticky resin. While the buds may lack dense trichome coverage, the orange pistils are dripping with super sticky resin. This strain is known for its moderate potency with THC levels averaging between 18-22%, making it suitable for most users. Kerala Krush is described as an extremely vigorous sativa crossing of the highest caliber, producing a medium tall plant with good yields for a sativa variety.

Kerala Krush Strain Growing Information
Kerala Krush can be cultivated both indoors and outdoors with a flowering time of approximately 70 days (±70 days). Flowering time ranges from 9 to 11 weeks with yields of approximately 14 ounces. This strain is somewhat sensitive and may struggle in chilly outdoor environments. Topping early is absolutely essential for adequate harvest, and using Screen of Green techniques will enhance results. The plant grows as a slender, medium height plant with narrow leaflets and long petioles. For indoor cultivation, best results are achieved through pruning once or twice before flowering, and bending lateral branches to 45 degrees to reduce stretching. Flying Dutchmen recommends growing this variety organically in soil, though all growing methods are suitable.
