Kif Plus is a unique hybrid strain developed by Spanish breeder Pitt Bully, representing an innovative cross between a traditional Moroccan landrace (kif) and the legendary Critical+ strain. This combination creates what the breeder describes as a 'semi-automatic' hybrid that maintains the fast-flowering characteristics of traditional Moroccan kif while gaining additional potency from the Critical+ genetics. The strain was specifically designed to bridge the gap between traditional hash-making varieties and modern high-THC cannabis cultivars. Kif Plus plants typically reach heights of around 150cm and are characterized by their outdoor preference, as the strain is specifically not recommended for indoor cultivation. The breeder notes that while traditional kif was primarily used for hash production due to lower individual flower potency, the hybridization with Critical+ provides more power for direct consumption while still maintaining excellent hash-making qualities. The strain flowers quickly at approximately 60 days and requires significant heat during flowering to perform optimally, making it unsuitable for winter crops or cold climates.
