This strain is the famed Larry OG clone coming from Orange County (OC), California, originally given to Larry after the clone came from Tahoe in Northern California. Larry OG is a balanced indica-sativa hybrid developed by the Cali Connection Seed Company of Orange County, California. Larry OG Kush has won The High Times Medical Cup award three years in a row from 2012–2014, including 1st place in the 2012 High Times Medical Cup in San Francisco, 2nd place in 2013 for "Best Hybrid" in Denver, and 1st place in 2014 for "Best Hybrid" in Denver.
The buds of Larry OG are known for their density and the distinctive length of their pistils, which are a burnt orange color and longer than average.
