What is the Lemon Punch Cake strain?

Lemon Punch Cake is a sativa cannabis strain, known for its cerebral effects and citrus and diesel flavor profile.

Lemon Punch Cake is a strain created by J2G Genetics in 2020. Using a very triched out and tropical smelling Lemon Cheesecake Thai cut and hit her with a very stinky male Primal Punch F2 from MG1 Seed Co that I hunted. This strain is classified as mostly sativa from J2G Genetics and can be cultivated indoors, outdoors and greenhouse (Where the plants will need a flowering time of ±65 days). The strain features flavors of tropical punch, aged fruit, melon, touch of gas and genetics from crossing Lemon Cheesecake Thai x Primal Punch F2.

This is definitely more of a sativa leaning plant with elongated colas filled with nugs that grow together mostly or completely hiding the stem to create long thin solid branch of nothing but bud. Stretch is medium to high which creates those long colas. She shows some nice colors in end of flower flushing in most phenos. Harvest time: Can be harvested usually around 65-70 days depending on how you like your trichomes. The high on the mother was very mind expanding and that really carried through to this strain as did the very nice trichome coverage and tropical smell. This strain is notable for being a limited release from a boutique breeder, making it relatively rare in the cannabis market.

How do you grow Lemon Punch Cake?

Can be cultivated indoors, outdoors and greenhouse with a flowering time of approximately 65 days. Can be harvested usually around 65-70 days depending on how you like your trichomes. Stretch: 2x+ Yield: Medium to High. Make sure you have enough height. They branch outward quite a bit as well, I only had to top them once to create a nice sized bush in veg. Feeding level in flower really depends on pheno, the taller ones definitely like higher levels around 1000+ ppm while the shorter phenos prefer less food around 800ppm but none were too picky. This is a sativa-dominant strain that requires adequate vertical space due to its stretching characteristics. Difficulty level is moderate to advanced due to varying phenotype requirements.
