Lucy's Lion S1
Also known as: Lucys' Lion S1
Lucy's Lion S1 Strain Overview
Lucy's Lion S1 is an S1 of a 22:1 high CBD low THC strain "Lucys' Lion" created by Oregon Microgrowers Guild in an attempt to pass on high CBD genetics. Lucys' Lion is named in honor of Lucy who is battling Dravet Syndrome, and her parents are fighting for their right to give this medicine to their daughter in the State of Virginia. The genetics of Lucy's Lion is AC/DC, which itself is currently unknown though it is suspected to be a high CBD phenotype of Cannatonic. ACDC is a phenotype of the high-CBD strain Cannatonic that was selected by Dr. William Courtney after receiving seeds from its original breeder, Spain-based Resin Seeds.
This strain was developed by Adam Jacques, head grower with The Growers Guild and founder of CBD Oregon and Sproutly, an Oregon-based dispensary. The buds have very sativa-like physical characteristics, with light fluffy buds, and a wonderfully light delicious smell. Unfortunately it is seemingly impossible to completely lock this kind of genetic mutation down. There will be high CBD phenos but not every pheno will be CBD rich. As an S1, this strain represents the first generation of selfed seeds from the original Lucy's Lion mother plant, aimed at preserving and stabilizing the high CBD genetics for medical cannabis patients.

Lucy's Lion S1 Strain Growing Information
Flowering time: 55 days. The buds have very sativa-like physical characteristics, with light fluffy buds. This strain is bred specifically for high CBD production, though growers should note that not every phenotype will be CBD rich due to the difficulty in completely locking down this genetic mutation. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation. Genetics are unknown beyond the AC/DC lineage, making growing information limited. The strain requires careful phenotype selection to ensure high CBD expression.
