Main Event is a 75% indica-dominant hybrid bred from crossing Madcap x Afghani strains by Jinxproof Genetics. This strain was created by Jinxproof, who has over 30 years of farming knowledge in breeding and stabilizing desirable strains and is known as the creator and breeder of the 9lb Hammer strain. The genetics trace back through its Madcap parent, which is a cross of 9lb Hammer x Mothertongue with approximately 24% THC, and an Afghani landrace strain.
The strain displays a stocky, indica-typical phenotype with bushy leaves that grow broad and wide. The thick, dense buds are typically light green with a plethora of white and golden curling pistils, and are extremely resinous and sticky, surrounded by heavily sugared leaves. The leaves can change to sunset-like colors close to harvest, creating cannabis plants reminiscent of a beautiful sunset. This strain is very hardy and tends to be both mold and mildew resistant.
