Also known as: Mandalorian
Mando Strain Overview
The Mando strain is named after the main character of The Mandalorian TV show on Disney Plus. The Star Wars character comes off harsh on the outside but sweet and soft on the inside, just like the real Mando strain. Mando is a cross between Yoda and Bahama Mama, bred by Solfire Gardens, which was founded in 2015 in the Pacific Northwest by a biology student from the University of Washington. Since then, the breeder has been on fire with some popular strains, including Mega Mind, Bahama Berry, and Mind Melter. The genetics trace back through complex lineage, with Bahama Mama being a sativa-dominant hybrid created by Solfire Gardens through the crossbreeding of Tropicana Cookies and Black Banana. The genetic heritage of Mando is almost completely unknown, though the father of the strain is unknown, though it may be Yoda OG. The result is blue and gray buds, with a thick and frosty layer of trichomes and a pungent, fuel-infested aroma. Around the edges of its cold appearance, pink hues shine through, making it a subtle centerpiece in any garden lucky enough to have it.

Mando Strain Growing Information
Mando is an indica / sativa from Solfire Gardens and can be cultivated indoors and outdoors. Solfire Gardens's Mando is only available as feminized seeds. Mando is rated as moderate in terms of growing difficulty. To maximize your results, keep an eye on airflow and humidity as well as ensuring good ventilation during the flowering phase. According to the breeder, the strain is easy enough to grow even though the bluer the plant, the more the phenotype seems to struggle, requiring more nutrition and growing time to produce a suitable yield. The phenos the cross produced came in two general forms. First, the one pictured which is a Bahama dominant frost monster with a gassy fruity pine mint smell and breakthrough pink hues. The next pheno was short with no pink, more of a grey blue in color, frosty as hell and all gas zero fruit.
